Pool Rental Information

Planning a party, gathering, or private event at Melrose Paradise Recreation Club? We make it easy to reserve the pool and enjoy a fun, relaxed setting with family, friends, and guests. Pool rental events must be booked at least 72 hours in advance of the preferred event time, and full payment is required no later than 7 days before the scheduled function. Melrose Paradise Recreation Club, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any event that has not been paid in full by the required deadline.

Guests are welcome to bring outside food and drinks for their event. The facility also includes access to a BBQ and outdoor refrigerator, which may be used as needed during your rental. If requested ahead of time, lifeguards can also help set up Bluetooth speakers so you can enjoy your own music during the event. At the end of your rental, we ask that all guests leave the facility in the same or better condition than when they arrived.

Pool Rental Fees

Rental pricing is based on membership status and total guest count:

Member Rates
1–35 Guests: $100
36–80 Guests: $200
81–200 Guests: $300

Non-Member Rates
1–35 Guests: $200
36–80 Guests: $300
81–200 Guests: $400

Entire Facility Rental
Private event during open swim hours: $600

Mandatory Lifeguard Fee

A mandatory lifeguard fee applies to all pool rentals and is based on the number of guests attending the event. The Melrose lifeguard rate is $20 per hour, per lifeguard.

Lifeguard requirements are as follows:

1–35 Guests: 2 Lifeguards
36–80 Guests: 3 Lifeguards
81–200 Guests: 4 Lifeguards

To calculate the lifeguard fee, use the following formula:

Event Hours x Number of Lifeguards Required x $20
For example, a 3-hour event with 60 guests would require 3 lifeguards:
3 hours x 3 lifeguards x $20 = $180 lifeguard fee
